God’s Plan of Salvation
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16 (NKJV)

Dear Friend,
Have you ever wondered what happens after death? Have you ever asked yourself, “How can I know for sure that I’m going to heaven?” or “Can God really forgive my sins?”
The good news is that the Bible gives a clear and certain answer. God loves you, and He has provided a way for you to receive forgiveness, peace with Him, and the gift of eternal life. That way is found in Jesus Christ.
Let’s take a look at God’s wonderful plan of salvation.
- We Are All Sinners
The first truth we must understand is that every person has sinned.
The Bible says:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
No one is perfect. We’ve all disobeyed God through our thoughts, words, attitudes, and actions. Because of sin, we are separated from God and unable to save ourselves.
Recognizing our need is the first step toward receiving God’s salvation.
- Sin Has a Price
Sin always has consequences.
The Bible declares:
“For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23a)
This death is more than physical death. It is eternal separation from God.
No amount of good works, religious activities, or personal effort can remove the guilt of sin or restore our relationship with God.
But God, in His great love, made a way.
- God Provided the Remedy
The greatest expression of God’s love is found in Jesus Christ.
The Bible says:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world to die on the cross for our sins. He took upon Himself the punishment we deserved so that we could receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death.
Salvation is God’s free gift to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ.
- Forgiveness Is Available Through Christ
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, every sinner can receive complete forgiveness.
The Bible tells us:
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)
No matter what your past looks like, God’s grace is greater than your sins.
When you place your faith in Jesus Christ, He forgives your sins, cleanses your heart, and restores your relationship with God.
- How Do You Receive Salvation?
God’s gift of salvation must be received by faith.
The Bible says:
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10)
Salvation is not earned—it is received by trusting in Jesus Christ alone.
When you place your faith in Him, God gives you a new life, forgives your sins, and welcomes you into His family.
Conclusion
God’s plan of salvation is the greatest demonstration of His love for humanity.
Although we were separated from Him because of sin, God made a way for us to be reconciled through Jesus Christ.
Today, that invitation is extended to you.
You can receive God’s forgiveness, experience His peace, and begin a new life with Him.
